Dale Glen Hoskins, 58, of Waterloo, died on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center.

Dale was born on June 15, 1965, in Waterloo, to Lael and Patricia Schiel Hoskins

Dale graduated from West High School with the class of 1984.

He served in the United States Army receiving an honorable discharge.

Dale enjoyed being a farmer and farming his own land. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Hoskins of Waterloo; brother, John Hoskins of Waterloo; three sisters, Janann (Rick) Bauler of Hudson, Donna (Chris) Mayer of Melbourne, IA and Jaclyn Lampson of Conrad, IA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dale is preceded in death by his father, Lael Hoskins; his grandparents and two uncles.

Funeral Services: 10:00 AM on Friday, November 3, 2023, Locke on 4th, 1519 West 4th St., Waterloo.

Visitation: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Locke on 4th.

Burial: Garden of Memories Cemetery with military rites by Evansdale AMVETS Post 31 and Army National Guard Honors Detail.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Locke on 4th is in charge of arrangements.
